AUTUMN 2010 AT ZION!!!
- For the first time Zion is launching an Adults and Youth Programme for Autumn! This will include most of our regular classes and many more new classes including Ballet, Jazz Dance, creatve ICT, Dressmaking and a preschool imagination class to launch our inclusion or preschool years into our programme! We will also be continuing with monthly artist nights and some really great Masterclass Opportunities!

The autumn programme will feature a varied and exciting range of exhibitions including photography competitions, local primary schoolwork, showcases for international artists from Kosovo and our very own showcase of our staff's creative talent!

Pictures That Tell Stories

Pupils from4 local primary schools (Rolls, Webster, St Mary's and St Philips) have been working with photographer Jennifer Kay to bring in old photographs and objects from home that tell a story. The children were encouraged to talk to their families and record their lives for a week in the form of photo diaries and learnt digital photography and lighting techniques. The photographs/results are outstanding!
Youth Membership Scheme & Young Leader's Forum.
Zion is relaunching the Youth Forum. It’s your chance to influence what happens at Zion, shadow artists, staff and even join the Board of Management, Learn how to run a venue, create a show, run a project from start to finish with the support of the professionals. The Youth Forum will be whatever you make it! Next Meeting tbc...
Also join our Youth Membership Scheme if you haven't already done so! To attend our workshops or use our youth hire scheme just fill out a form at front desk and register yourself for our membership card! This will give you Zion priveleges and could even enter you for exciting competitions!
