• Pre-Carnival

There will be a Generate Generations pre-carnival showcase at Zion Arts Centre on Friday 15th August. And if you want a break from the streets or The Alexandra Park sunshine, you can pop into Zion at any point because we will have related activity, screenings and exhibitions here throughout the weekend (9am - 9pm)

 

• Procession

We need a troupe of approximately 25 young people to fly the Zion flag during the Saturday 16th August procession. You will be dressed in silver as befits the steel pan theme in honour of Mr Arthur Culpepper who passed away recently. Whether you are an existing drumming or dance group or an individual that is happy to devise something with other young people at Zion...just get in touch!

• Main Stage

Zion Youth Forum have a 2 hour slot on the Main Stage in Alexandra Park on Sunday 17th August. If you are a talented group or individual, then this is the stage for you! Whether you want to dance for 10 mins, DJ for 15 mins, sing, play or act then get in touch!

• A King, Queen and Prince

No carnival procession is complete without 4 exquisitely dressed individuals! We have our 8 year old princess and now require a similar aged (or height!) prince to keep her company. If you are aged 16+ then maybe you would like to be King and Queen.

• Costume-making
