Summer In A Week activity !

Over the summer holidays, Zion Arts Centre gives 5 - 25 year olds the chance to get involved in 4 different week long projects with some great artists...

On Stage In A Week
8th -14th August

Your chance to gain skills in Streetdance, Samba, MCing, DJing or singing and perform at Zion’s new Onstage night in Zion’s professional theatre. This will be a showcase performance that will blow your friends and family away!

Carnival In A Week
11th -15th August

Manchester Carnival takes place on Sunday 17th August. This week gives you the opportunity to be part of the carnival parade, learn routines and make costumes. Be part of Team Zion in Manchester’s greatest summer celebration!

Play In A Week
18th - 22nd August

Ever fancied yourself as an actor? Want to follow in the footsteps of big names who have treaded the boards of Zion’s professional stage? How about working the lights as part of the backstage crew? This week will allow you to do everything from writing the script through to performing your very own play!

Film In A Week
25th - 29th August

This week sees Zion transformed into a haunted house as we put on workshops to create Zion’s very own horror movie! Work with artists to make special effects and actors who will teach you all you need to know to create a spine tingling spooky script! Come along to have some fun and see what creepy things we can discover in the depths of Zion Arts Centre…
