Wow! I'm standing in for one of the presenters on ALLFM 96.9 for 2 hours this Saturday. I went up to the ALLfm station this afternoon, Wed 19th March. Gavin, the music man, rang me on my mobile while I was on the 197 bus heading to the station.

It was good to be back at ALLfm after my hernia operation, which had stitches in me. The station has had a bit of a face lift, well, more like make-up rather than make-over.  I, also, have been busy doing some community reporting for www.mymanchester.net this week when on Saturday I was invited to report on the "Manchester 2015" conference convention thingy near formerly G-MEX.

I've been updating a new blog site http://thehulmetune.tumblr.com - eventually this will link with www.thehulmetune.co.uk .

It seems that individuals who really want to be creative and contribute to the community cannot get funding or its tied up in various things. So frustrating when I need a better pc or a mac, broadband 8megs, camera and money to run round and do what I wanna do.

This is the problem. Government wants people, like myself, back into work but doesn't want to support that with opportunities. If I went looking for the help then I'd have to stop all the voluntary work, as that would be a full time job in itself. Still, if I had to rely on Government help - I'd still be at home bored.
